It's time to introduce you to a very special guy,
who is more typical yet extraordinary.
A guy I sort of 'met' on the beach,
affectionately known to me, anyway, as Muscle Mary.

Where are we going?

WELCOME to the ramblings of a Cruising Beach-Bum. You shouldn't think too narrowly of the term 'cruising' and equally, 'beach-bum' may take you much further afield than the lapping shores of a tropical island. As we dig deeper into the world of cruising and of the often enviable world of being a beach-bum, it is likely you will be introduced to some weird and wonderful characters whose names have been changed, to protect the guilty. There is 'String' and 'Stallion', ' Muscle Mary' and 'Gypsy Rose' and as the ramblings progress, we may touch on 'Kissing Annie' and 'Irene the Terrible', also known as the 'Wicked Witch of Washington'.

So far, we have ventured to the spectacular South Atlantic Ocean, to South Georgia and have set the scene for many more stories about Amazing Thailand.

There is no limit to where we can go, as I have been fortunate enough to have travelled the world for the past twenty two years. Australia, Galapagos Islands, Europe, Middle East, Far East, Greenland and the Americas and I look forward to giving you a few smiles along the way.

Between travels we can 'touch upon' life in Thailand, and a few places nearer home.

Some of the stories are 'on the edge', but we're all grownups! ......... Aren't we?
